I fell in love with typography, calligraphy, and hand lettering in college as artists started to post their work on Instagram. I largely taught myself using brush pens and studying different styles of lettering, then I brought traditional copperplate calligraphy techniques into my brush scripts. Pen to paper is always my favorite way to write, but I’ve enjoyed the process of experimenting with digital lettering on an iPad.
